We are so happy for Dr Nisrin and so sad at the same time to share the news that Dr Nisrin is moving to Sacramento at the end of June. Her husband Jamal has taken a job there and they are heading west! Fortunately Nisrin’s parents are making the move with them and her children will be able to spend the summer making friends before starting in their new schools this fall.
It’s a big adjustment for her and for all of us at Birmingham Pediatrics. Nisrin is family to us and she will be missed terribly. Many patients and families will miss her wonderful demeanor and gentle, supportive care as well and we want anyone and everyone who is able to come to send Nisrin off in style.
On Friday, June 16th from 5-7pm we are hosting a Celebration for Dr Nisrin and invite everyone to come and wish her well on her next adventure!
