Newborn In-Home Visits

We can care for your new baby in the comfort of your own home.

Being a new parent is exciting and exhausting at the same time. To help make things just a little easier, we offer home visits for newborns. No need to make an extra trip. We come to you and make sure your baby is off to a healthy start.

If you live within the boundaries of our home visit area, you’re most likely eligible for a visit!

How our Newborn Home Visits work:

  • Call us when you are getting ready to come home from the hospital (as soon as you are discharged)
  • Set up your home visit for the upcoming Tuesday or Friday morning if your baby has had a routine hospital course
  • The day before your visit, our staff will call you to confirm the appointment and give you a 4-hour window of time for the visit
  • The day of the visit, the provider will contact you early in the morning to give you a much better idea of when you will be seen (a one-hour window)
  • The provider will be in touch with you when she is on her way to your house

What can you expect during your visit:

  • Your baby will be examined, weighed, measured, and (if needed) labs will drawn to check for jaundice
  • Advice will be given and all questions will be answered
  • If needed, we will schedule a follow up home visit for the upcoming Tuesday or Friday
